A local moving is a moving done at Montreal or close to Montreal. The tarification is basically by the hour, for a service including 2 or3 men and truck.

Long distance moving

Beyond a radius of 100 kilometers of Montreal, a moving will be considered "long distance". The tarification is by the hour when the work can be done in the same day, otherwise a flat rate will be charged for the longer jobs. For example, a moving to Toronto will usually be charged at flat rate.
